From Your Teacher

"You can't command people to do their best; they can only command that of themselves"

Hello and welcome to your blog!

I hope you enjoy your writing here at 'Ten Ten Ten' this term.
Some of you will think, "Oh, no! I don't like writing." While others will say, "Writing! I'm not good at that."

Well, don't worry! We will do some interesting activities and if you do your best you will see huge improvements in your writing. OK?

This is your blog, so look after it. Lots of other people are going to see your work so make sure that you are proud of all your posts. Please remember to be polite to your classmates especially when you make comments on their work. And please 'don't copy and paste' anything onto the blog. Anyone can do that, it's cheating, and it won't help your English.

Remember too, that because it is your blog you can write a post on almost anything you like and at anytime you like. Yes, this means you can write at home and post on the blog about almost any subject. You don't have to ask the teacher if it is OK to write on the blog. Just do it!

Keep in mind that while grammar is important, so too is imagination- no one wants to read a boring story, right? So dare to dream, be original and take risks.

But most of all do your best- that's all your teacher asks of you.

Have fun and be sure to ask questions when you have them.

Teacher Philip
